The opening sequences not only introduce Victor but also offer a glimpse into his introverted and contemplative nature. The film's visual style, characterized by warm and soft hues, mirrors the emotional landscape of its protagonist. The gentle soundtrack, evocative of romance and longing, weaves seamlessly with the natural sounds of the sea, evoking a poignant atmosphere.

"The Man with the Answers" skillfully lays the foundation for a tale of self-discovery, love, and the intricate dance between past and future. As Victor's journey unfolds, viewers are invited to accompany him on a deeply introspective and emotionally resonant adventure through the landscapes of both the heart and the world.

' PSYCHOLOGY OF LOVE '

"The Man with the Answers" belongs to the intriguing genre of psychology romance. The melody of trustworthiness is genuinely built up scene-by-scene in the shallow romance love that did not identified by both characters. A captivating exploration of the complex dynamics of love and human psychology opens as the characters' relationship unfolds, their trust in each other deepens, creating a unique and compelling romantic narrative that is carefully constructed throughout the movie.

▶︎ Setting and Atmosphere:

In the picturesque coastal town of Greece, Victor was introduced to the audience by a spectacular transition from the movie's title card to the very first scene in the movie.

As "The Man With The Answers" begins, the film invites us into a world characterized by stark contrasts. The setting is subtly portrayed, reflecting the emotional landscapes of the characters. The atmosphere is initially somber, mirroring Victor's introverted and solitary life. The opening scenes paint a picture of urban drudgery, filled with muted tones and a sense of quiet isolation. This ambiance hints at the overarching theme of self-discovery and the enigmatic journey that Victor is about to undertake. The mood is underscored by a haunting musical score, setting the stage for the intriguing interplay between Victor's routine existence and Mathias's vibrant and daring approach to life.

▶︎ Character Involving - Strauss' Binary Opposite Theory:

In "The Man With The Answers," Mathias and Victor couldn't be more different in their personalities. Victor, portrayed by Vasilis Magouliotis is a quiet, reserved man who sticks to his daily routines. A former diving champion, he now takes on odd jobs to make ends meet, leading a solitary life with seemingly no friends, social connections, or close family ties, except for his ailing grandmother, whom he looked after until her passing early in the film, a pivotal moment that drives Victor to visit his mother.

Victor sticks with his daily routine.

On the other hand, Mathias, portrayed by Anton Weil, is totally different from Victor, is outgoing, spontaneous, and always up for an adventure. His mission often seems to involve pushing Victor out of his comfort zone, all in an attempt to uncover the truths that lie behind Victor's worldview, even if this frequently puts Victor in an uncomfortable position.

▶︎ Conflict and Inciting Incident:

When Victor decided to embark on his journey to Germany, everything changed, and that's when his life connected with another living soul. This decision to travel may be triggered by his grief or a desire for personal change, setting the narrative in motion.

This is when Victor consistently wore a beaming smile, turning the moody atmosphere into a much livelier animating vibe.

▶︎ Visual Style and Cinematography:

The film's visual style, including its use of color, lighting, and camera angles, contributes to its overall ambiance. For a romantic film, warm and soft colors, along with natural lighting, can enhance the emotional atmosphere. In contrast, if there are shots that evoke a sense of longing or melancholy, they might suggest the protagonist's emotional state.

    'LOVE IS IN THE AIR'

"Is love really in the air? Considering the shallow romance itching its way into the intensive scene-by-scene narrative, is it? An ex-diving champion, now working in a small furniture factory, is facing the death of his grandma, surrounded by many challenges that directly affect Victor's mental health.

The world seems dark for a good reason. The weight of these trials bore down on him, transforming his journey into a compelling odyssey. Was love the flicker of light at the end of this shadowy tunnel, or merely a fleeting mirage in life's intricate tapestry? As symbolized by the colors on this board, it painted the movie's dominant emotional palette.

The movie's title card effectively conveyed how the significance of every word seamlessly integrated into the universe of the two main characters, Victor and Mathias. Using a straightforward font style, it conveyed a gentle, relaxed atmosphere that permeated the entire film. Notably, the words "Men" and "Answers" were highlighted in Bold, underscoring the central theme of the movie: Victor's quest to find answers about his own existence.

▶︎ Sound Effects:

The importance of the choice of music and sound design in this context cannot be overstated. It encompasses a meticulously crafted selection of elements, including gentle and mellifluous melodies intertwined with the evocative depth of down-tempo compositions. The resultant musical landscape is an exquisite tapestry, emphasizing Victor's personality of a phlegmatic and pensive person. Mostly, non-diegetic sound displayed through the Stelios Kammitsis' ear - the director of the movie in order to describe extensively the portrait of Victor.

Soundtrack/ OST used in "The Man With The Answers"

The opening music establishes a static vibe from the very first scene of the movie.

Instead of relying on music, sound effects take on the crucial task of intricately portraying each scene in the movie. Even the most subtle elements, such as the act of breathing, can craft a somber and detailed visual representation. It is this meticulous attention to detail that allows us, as viewers, to immerse ourselves fully into the world of Victor. Through the unspoken language of sound, we not only witness the external events but also connect with the deeper, more intimate aspects of his character. The sigh of the wind, the echo of footsteps, or the whisper of fading memories — all contribute to the emotional tapestry that makes a movie like "The Man with the Answers" a powerful and moving cinematic experience.
